Salty Raven Milkshake is a zine with each issue centered on a single theme but unified within a fictional space: a small, magical village and safe haven for those who have been deemed witches. Each issue covers travel, culture, mythology, folklore, art, and social issues related to the chosen theme. This is the first issue, which is all about coffee: the historical relationship between coffee and magic, places with great coffee, the revolutionary Zapatistas' coffee co-ops, ways to advocate for children (exploited by the coffee industry), and military abuses (I promise coffee is related...). ​
